Certainly was there for the Breeder's Cup...and if so again...I will NOT wager...makes an already NEARLY impossible race to handicap as is...to a TOTAL Lotto/roulette type wager...

Don't tell Calvin Bo rail the rail is slow. He has only won 3 Ky Derbies going up the inside. Just saying, it's not always slow.

The rail was fast when they had the BC there in 2006, too.
Except for the Classic (there had been track maintenance before that race).

What about the 2006 Sprint? Thor's Echo was 3 wide around the turn and for much of the race (choosing to exit the so-called golden rail). If it truly was a rail biased track, Thors Echo wouldn't have won. And as for track maintenance, they can make a tiring track more speed favoring by adding water but unless they are out there shoveling dirt toward the rail, they aren't going to negate a true rail bias. Both Invasor and Bernardini had wide trips.
