Dave:
A bit confused on the adjustments: filly adjustment 4.7, does this mean 47 hundredths added to the finish sprint time? Is a filly adjustment 1/2 again as large for routes? (.71).
Do you have a recommended pace adjustment?
3yr old adjustments: do these mirror the Quirin studies?
thanks,

No, it means 4.7 points or .94 seconds.

Speed ratings are about speed. While something esoteric such as EP + FT might improve a number, it becomes something other than a speed rating. I will leave that up to you.
Note: In my own handicapping (which is software-driven, of course) I do use many other ratings: F1, EP, SC, SP, LP, SR, HF, to name a few.
I also combine them together: FT+F1, SP+Class, etc.
Let not your creativity be limited.

I would say that they should match pretty closely.
In my own software, the age adjustment is actually based upon the difference between months (i.e. adj= TodayMonthAdj - PaceLineMonthAdj).
