I picked three races to wager at Mountaineer tonight and had these results;
1.) A viable long shot whom I bet to Win and Place ran third.
2.) Another long shot dropping from straight maiden to claimer, goes off at a healthy price, takes an immediate left turn out of the gate, and dumps the jockey.
3.) A 10-1 shot, a well bred Malibu Moon filly with lousy pp's ridden by the tracks leading jockey, takes the lead in mid stretch, and is outfinished on the rail by a bigger long shot, a first time starter bred in Michigan by a sire I've never heard of.
I figured since people usually like to post their successes, I'd have some fun and post a night of failures. It's ok, I'll get 'em next time.
