A very tough week for 'Elmo' connections and the Chicagoland racing community.

Michelle Eustis, daughter of 'Elmo' trainer, Chuck Eustis III, was killed earlier in the week by a drunk driver at Balmoral Park's backstretch.

It was learned earlier in the week St. Elmo Hero lost a shoe at the start of his nose loss to Art Professor........ending his undefeated streak at 25.

Tonite, at Woodbine, with 4 shoes, St. Elmo Hero simply ran away from this group.....including Art Professor, and Lisagain, a winner against Hypnotic Blue Chip 2 weeks earlier.

Now 26 for 27.
