In the 3.10 at Newbury to be exact.

After seeing him in the flesh at Newmarket last year, I have to admit to harboring some doubts about how he will do as a 3yo. He didn't strike me as a horse with much scope.
However, he is reported to have grown during the winter, so I guess we'll have to find out, starting today.

He certainly looks a lot bigger than last October. Encouraging.

Just a little bit rusty but pretty easy in the end.

Was a bit rank at times, but accelerated nicely, and won going away.

Sets him up nicely for the 2000 Guineas on May 7th... :ThmbUp:

He is sure to meet tougher that day, though.

Henry Cecil on Channel 4 ... 'jockey couldn't pull him up after the race' , 'nice blow after the race', 'will be spot on for the Guineas', 'a lot more to come'.

He's definitely got the makings of a good miler and will not be going against him again at that distance (had to this time, but small) unless he is facing a certain mare from France. Looks to be set up for a very strong year with that opening performance.

Frankel has 12 rivals at Newmarket today over a mile.
They post at 10:10am ET.

Looking forward to seeing if he is still at "Super Horse" status!

That was simply a non-race.

I can't wait 7/27 Frankel vs Canford Cliffs ( Goodwood , Sussex )
Going to be to be tough but but I'm rooting for Frankel .

Bet against for me. Going to see what the field looks like but will try to beat him into 3rd if possible
