IPad Apps?

I should be getting my refurb. IPAD from the Apple Store late this week or early next week. You folks have any apps to recommend? I am looking for apps dealing in sports (especially horse racing), entertainment, tv, news, weather, etc. In other words, fun stuff.

In work related stuff, anyone tried the app LogMeIn ignition? I understand you can use it to access programs on your pc and it displays on IPAD. If it works as advertised, I could access a couple of favorite horse racing programs on my computer, bet through twin spires mobile, and watch the races while sitting in my easy chair. That would be cool.

Looking forward to hearing about some of your favorite apps.

As for LogmeIn, I have both that and GoToMYPC. Either should work for accessing handicapping programs on your PC. However, even over WiFi, they both are sluggish compared to using the same program on a desktop (for instance, using it on your work PC to access your home PC).

LogmeIn is a one time fee, while GotoMYPC has a monthly subscription price. Something tells me there is a better way out there, also for free, but I obviously don't know about it...
