Is there a database for past US thoroughbred racing, not just for recent results? Also is there one for horses? These are available in the UK for UK racing and free of charge. Thanks.

When you're talking about a database for past U.S. thoroughbred racing, do you mean you're looking for some archived race results like they have at www.racingchannel.com ?
