View Full Version : Best Days for a Class

This thread is a follow up to the Basics of Winning thread.

The question is, "Which days work best for you to attend live?"

The way I have designed the seminar, it is not necessary to attend live but you do gain the ability to ask questions and have them immediately answered.

Please only select days if you are considering attending this class.

Please note that you can pick multiple days!

I work nights, and my only nights off are friday and saturday.

Dave,

How about giving us access after the class to the video?

Thanks

Each class video will be available by the next day after the class for all attendees.

That way, anyone who missed the class will get the work assignments.

This class is interactive in the sense that there is a workbook, and tasks to do between the sessions. The idea is to improve your results as we go through the class.

Some of the concepts delivered will lead to a certain amount of resistance from the student, I am sure. That is the nature of change.

I must admit that I am surprised so many people like Mondays. Actually, pleased at that.

A question... Would you prefer a class program that has 4 sessions spread over 4 weeks (like each Monday night) or would you prefer an accelerated approach with 2 classes per week?

Dave, I voted early (but not often) for Monday -- but I would be good with Monday or Tuesday as my top picks as those are days that are quiet and would allow me to put my mental energy (limited though it is) to best use.

As well, my preference would be to participate "live" rather than after the fact, which again lends itself to using a quiet day.

I would also prefer just one class per week.

2 cents worth,

Dave, I would MUCH prefer one class per week. Give everything time to sink in.

I would prefer two classes per week so that I could get access to the material quicker.

Since I tend to play more poker, and bet more races later in the week, having the classes earlier in the week would be great.

Well, Monday is the front runner at the moment but the others are closing fast.

Since Handicapping Night School is already on Monday night, I'd be much more likely to attend on some other night.

That is certainly a good point.

So, are you getting a lot from that class?

Like changing socks, once a week is fine!

Well, thank god you didn't say "like changing underwear" because once every other week is too spread out!

I thought it was like bathing...

i'd prefer one time a week... just too busy with other things for twice a week.

Also, these classes will be at night right ?

Yes. It looks like we'll be back to Tuesday evenings.

It's been pretty basic so far, but there's been some good information and a whole lot of fun. I like the idea of it a lot, and I've enjoyed participating so far.

Tuesday night would be great for me.

I promise that Basics of Winning will not be "basic." ;)
