Double preferred excellent race conditions for overlay winners.

Chuckled when I saw they carded this condition. Laughed even harder when I saw they could only get a field of eight.

And now I see the 8/5 morning line favorite is an early scratch.

Pitiful.

You think the guys a Los Alamitos will get mad if SA starts running $2k claimers @ 4.5 furlongs?

Just watched a field of 5 where Baffert trained 3 of them!
This track is a total joke.

Maybe they could have all the fired TVG hosts fill a race.

Changes are coming Tom. Believe me when I tell you Jeff, Roger (rwwupl) and me are beating the hell out of them. They are starting to get it. I wouldn't be surprised if we see some changes by the end of next week.

Too late, Andy. The tack is dead.
I will never go back.

Too many years of miserable crap - enough is enough.

Tom, you have Horseplayers working their asses off for free. You have to factor that in. At least give it another few months. I promise some progress.

No matter what you guys do, California is not capable of putting out an acceptable product. Just nothing left there. It's over.

Tom, we've had our differences but give it a little more time. If I told you what we've been doing there would be rioting in the streets. :D ;) :)

I may not be kidding. ;)

Nobody wants to see racing go away out here.

Last Year was SA Derby Day, with KY Derby May 7th this year everything pushed back a week.

None of this is Santa Anita's fault. It's the leadership of the CHRB and the TOC.

It's the first time I've seen a MCL on the turf in Socal but they card a ton of them at Belmont. My guess is the turf course is still in good condition and they want to run as many races on it as they can.
