Don't know if this belongs in the software thread or not....
Anyone use numbers/picks from here?

http://mysite.verizon.net/whobet/
It's a pretty deep site... lots of free PP's ect....

Lots of scans done by some program or another... Anyone know exactly what the numbers on pages like this one mean?
http://mysite.verizon.net/whobet/bris2nd.html

I've been looking at this page... called the "grid" ... seems pretty solid,
http://mysite.verizon.net/whobet/grid.html

I'm not one to follow someone's picks without understanding the method behind them... so any input would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

I don't think BRIS would look too kindly on what is being displayed there

I thought the same thing but this site has been doing this for years....
Not saying it's right or anything....
I was just wondering if anyone here knows what whobet's results have been... and what some of the numbers mean...
After digging around the site I Did find some pretty interesting stuff....
Chris Longshot who posts here does contribute to whobet...

Don't you think your best bet would be to email whobet on his site and ask him what some of his numbers represent?

As for BRIS, they are one tough mutha when it comes to violating their terms of service, so I hope whobet isn't running afoul there...

I think the reason BRIS doesn't get upset is that he doesn't link directly to the race pdfs, he links to the trainer or sire pages.

I remember when Bris blocked access to the free PP's on his site. He worked it out with them by putting a link to their site on his.

I think the reason BRIS doesn't get upset is that he doesn't link directly to the race pdfs, he links to the trainer or sire pages.I'm not talking about the free PP links. Those are great and certainly within the terms.

I'm talking about the "scans" the OP linked to, where you see columns labeled "BRIS." I haven't looked close enough to see if those are actual BRIS figures being reproduced or derivatives. Either way, most of these "Terms of Use" clauses on sites like BRIS, DRF and Equibase forbid most everything like that...

Looks like Whobet's site has a new address: trks.2day.com

Problem is that there's no more free pp's :( at least that I could find.
Had a feeling they wouldn't last forever.
Anyone else visit this site recently?

Click on the Bris2day in the upper left hand corner of the purple grid and it is there.
