I wonder how I can track down the copier a secretary would regularly put her can on at an ad agency I worked for in the 80's?

I had plenty of discussions with my wife regarding old computers she wanted to donate to make room for the new stuff. I say no, do not donate, give away, or throw away. I want to see the hard drives destroyed. I don't trust the erasing programs either.

Never thought the printers were recording everything. I know each printer has a signature allowing each copy to be traced, but is there some purpose for a printer to maintain a history?
