When reading the racing form. I come across the two sets of numbers, after what the horse was running for. In the example below it's 102-84. What are these numbers and is it better for them to be higher than the other horses. Thanks for any help you can give me. This is all new to me. Have a good one!

That's a pace rating and a speed rating, which is not in my DRF.

That could also be a rating ( speed or pace or overall performance ) and the track or race variant assigned to that race. So all horses exiting that race have the second number the same and the first will be an individual measure of performance.
