John Conyers Admits Obamacare is Pathway to Achieve Single-Payer

Many of us knew this all along, even when Obama stood before the American people when marketing this disaster to us and lied to us (yet again!) that we would still get to keep our insurance plans, doctors, etc.

Conyers, today, finally caught up to what Dingle said back in March of last year about ObamaCare. Always love it when these libs have an honest moment.

Under the healthcare bill as passed you do keep your doctor; you do keep your insurance plan. That's what Obama said; that's what happened.

What might happen under a bill that was neither proposed nor passed is hugely irrelevant.

No, it's not! The bill was not marketed to the American public with the libs' real intentions behind it. Therefore, Obama once again lied by omission because he knew that if he had revealed his true agenda, the public outcry would have been deafening.

Obama trickery would be analogous to a used car salesman telling a prospective buyer that the car runs great, has low mileage and the buyer shouldn't be concerned about a thing, including taking cross country trips in it. Yet, the salesman at the same time knows the lot's mechanic had implemented many cheap and temporary fixes to the vehicle and said the car would be doing well to last another 10,000 miles because it had so much wrong with it.

And I seem to recall that you mocked and ridiculed many conservatives before the bill was passed and accused us off fear- mongering when so many of us knew fully well that the bill was just an "end around" to a single payer system. In fact, you even dismissed Dingle's remarks that he made early on after its passage in order to defend Obama's [non-existent] veracity.

Obama is a deceiver. Plain and simple.

Obama to Single Payer Advocates: Drop Dead

President Obama’s White House made crystal clear this week: a Canadian-style, Medicare-for-all, single payer health insurance system is off the table.

Obama doesn’t even want to discuss it.

Take the case of Congressman John Conyers (D-Michigan).

Conyers is the leading advocate for single payer health insurance in Congress.

Last week, Conyers attended a Congressional Black Caucus meeting with President Obama at the White House.

During the meeting, Congressman Conyers, sponsor of the single payer bill in the House (HR 676), asked President Obama for an invite to the President’s Marchy 5 health care summit at the White House.

Conyers said he would bring along with him two doctors — Dr. Marcia Angell and Dr. Quentin Young — to represent the majority of physicians in the United States who favor single payer.

Obama would have none of it.

This week, by e-mail, Conyers heard back from the White House — no invite.

Why not?

Well, believe it or not, the Obama White House is under the thumb of the health insurance industry.

Obama has become the industry’s chief enforcer of its key demand: single payer health insurance is off the table.

When did Conyers say all this?

Before or after visiting his wife in prison?

It's not "off the table". Obama for years has been a huge advocate for socialized medicine (a/k/a "universal health care or single-payer". I don't care what Obama says publicly. Changes are excellent that he is lying -- most especially with elections looming on the horizon.
