I would assume it was Julie Krone, but we know what happens when you assume.

Maybe Homeister?

I was thinking Julie too, but that seems so long ago, you would think someone has done it in the last 10 years. Does Rosie Napravnik have any grade 1 wins in her career? She would be the jock you would think (other than Chantal) who would have done it.

I just looked up Homeister Jr and it isn't her. She's won a couple of Gr2's only.

Julie Krone won a handful in 2003. The Hollywood Derby may have been her last. I looked up Rosemary and Anna. Rosemary won some nice races but I don't think they went past G2. I might be wrong. The Kentucky Cup Turf, Florida Oaks? I'm positive Anna hasn't acheived a G1 victory.

I'm with CJ here - Hollywood Derby on Sweet Return?

Yes, it might have been Halfbridled in 2003 in the BC for Julie.

Rosie won the Hawthorne Gold Cup, a Grade II race, but that might be the closest anyone has come since 2003 (in america of course)

I just checked myself, thinking that I might have my years all mixed up. I can't think of any other possibility.

The Top Flight was a gr1 and Karen Rogers won it on Adept.
She also did pretty good against a very solid Jockey colony
in NY .

Didn't Diane Nelson win the Prioress one year on Acey Deucey? The irony of that is that the Prioress has probably been the worst of all the Grade 1s over the past decade.

Is it Julien Leparoux?
Not sure if he's a guy or a gal.

He is a guy.

If we are just naming female G1 winning jocks, Abigail Fuller must have won at least one on Mom's Command.

In 1983. She's not even the last woman to win that race, Julie Krone did it in '91 on Buy the Firm.

Good job. Diane Nelson aboard Acey Deucey in the G1 Prioress on July 9, 2005. That seems to be our winner.

Julie won four GI's in 2003, I believe.

The Hollywood Derby was the last of the four.

In addition to the Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies, Halfbridled also won the GI Del Mar Debutante.

The other one that hasn't been mentioned yet in this thread, and it surprises me because it was one of the most brilliant performances in SoCal in the last 20 years, is Candy Ride's 2003 Pacific Classic. I was there that day, and I will never forget it.

Medaglia d'Oro broke Del Mar's 10f track record in that Pacific Classic......and Candy Ride beat him by 4 lengths! And it was basically a "pick-up mount" for Julie, who sat in for an injured Gary Stevens. It was something else!
