so u going to bet a total of $700 on a 2/5 shot with $400 of it to show. say the horse wins the show payof will be either $2.20 or $2.10. So you will make a profit of either $40 or $20 on the show payoff

If you going to bet $700 might as well put the whole thing to win.

I understand.

I always bet this way.

If the horse does come in 3rd, I lose $280, if I put it all to win and the horse comes in 3rd, then I lose $700. It is risk mitigation.

2/5? He's going to be 1/9 and if they are allowing show wagering I'm sure the bridge jumpers are going to be out.

I just think there might be some better opportunities this weekend, but good luck Curious.

Bunch of ****ing know it alls.Good idea. It's best to post your picks where nobody will see them.

But seriously, if you don't want commentary on your selections, don't post them. If you post them, expect opinions to be thrown your way, both good and bad.

Can you say "thin skin?"

Bad trait to have for a professional horseplayer.

Not to worry, his posting-of-selections boycott was short-lived, lasting less than 10 hours.

Came in 2nd. Oh well, lost a few dollars. I'm glad I didn't put that $700 on the bet to come in first like some people said to.

By the way I think it was an accident Zitos other horse won.......he certainly made every attempt to lose down at the wire.....just being funny or trying to :jump:

ps we know he didnt lose the $700 so give him credit for that!
