It feels like halftime in the 2011 Road to the Kentucky Derby. After last weekend, we culled numerous horses from our lists at The Downey Profile. Here are next-race plans--or lack of plans--for 65 horses still on our lists.

ALBERGATTI. Exciting newcomer's plans are being held close to the vest by Asmussen stable, but we will hear something very soon.

ALTERNATION. Rebel Stakes on March 19.

ANTHONY'S CROSS. The Santa Anita Derby on April 9 is said to be next.

ARCH TRAVELER. The Florida Derby on April 3 with the April 9 Wood Memorial a backup plan if defections don't crop up in the Florida Derby.

Someone needs to get Bill O Rielly to interveiw Baffert and visit the colt at Baffert's barn...it'd sure be some good PR for racing...and a ton of fun!!

Used to be, the preps would shake out most of the pretenders along the way. Now, they put 20 stall in the Derby gate and left the garbage run.

The Derby has become a joke.
