I've just switched from Reader & am pleased.
However, do I need to keep any of the following?

Adobe AIR
Adobe Flashplayer 10
Adobe Shockwave 11.5

FWIW, Adobe is one of the most pesty applications in implementation of monitoring of their software and its use.

IMO, the more Adobe your able to remove from your computer, the better your computer will function, however that holds true for tons of software.
