and hilarity ensues. You have to watch this lengthy interview at the link below. Staterun media correspondent Andrea Mitchell interviews Don Rumsfeld and gets totally flummoxed. You can see how she has really prepared for this and has what she thinks is all her damning evidence against him, and one by one he smacks her down. It was really conducted less like an interview and more like a trial.
One of my favorite parts is when Andrea tries to catch him about something that was said by a DOD underling about Rummy, she says to him "didn't you read Bob Woodwards book on this?". he says "no, he wasn't there. he's on the outside looking in talking to people 2-3 levels down." Of course to Andrea Mitchell Bob Woodards book is the gospel.
