I just finished reading Enemy Number One by Patrick Veitch, considered one of the UK's most feared professional punters. A very good read on the insights of a large scale bettor.

Check it out at: Enemy Number One (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Enemy-Number-One-Secrets-Professional/dp/190515660X)

This book was very generously sent to me by Pace Advantages' very own, thaskalos. He sent the book at his own expense and without any compensation whatsoever! His only stipulation was that I pass the book along to another fan of the game, to which I gladly agree.

If you're interested in this book please message me and I'll be glad to send it your way with the stipulation that you continue to send it along to another.

In honor of Gus (thaskalos) I hope others will use THE BOOK EXCHANGE thread to continue this spirit of generosity and share their own books with others in our wonderful racing community.

Thanks Gus!

It's an okay read, at best. He imparts NOTHING of his method (understandable), and the tale amounts to a long-winded self-trumpet (also understandable, but disgusting, too).

Some value as an inspirational thing, maybe.

I have (finally) finished this book. If someone would like it next, PM me your address and I'll get it in the mail. It is ok in my opinion, nothing more, nothing less.
