Lone Star sale and bankruptcy

Does anyone have any info about Lone Star's sale to the group that owns Remington? Are they still inerested in buying the track? They seemed to improve Remington's meet, albeit with helps from slots, but handle increased sharply. If Magna is still in control i think this could be Lone Star's worst meet yet.

Global Gaming is still on track to buy Lone Star. They are ironing out some details with the Texas Racing Commission before the change in ownership occurs. In the meantime, Global is paying the bills for Magna that the track incurs. Smart move for them to step in and buy as it is looking more promising that slots may be approved by the state legislature. What Global did with Remington Park was just awesome- let's hope they do the same for Lone Star. :)

lone star park went down the drain, with casinos in louisiana about 3 hour drive and 2 in Oklahoma about 1 hour drive that's were everybody goes to bet...lone star is a nice track but with out slots it went down the drain? I don't even go there and live 10 min away...after the breeders cup it went down hill....
