We already know how he has snubbed Israel...now the UK?

Government WikiLeaks: US Agreed to Reveal UK’s Nuclear Secrets to Russia

In yet another (http://www.theblaze.com/stories/wikileaks-al-qaeda-could-unleash-nuclear-911/) bombshell disclosure (http://www.theblaze.com/stories/wikileaks-u-s-govt-secretly-backed-egyptian-dissidents-plotting-regime-change/) this week, the online site WikiLeaks is shedding disturbing new light on the “special relationship” that once bound the United States and Great Britain.

Now-public embassy cables released Friday by WikiLeaks seem to suggest that the United States secretly agreed to share sensitive information about Britain’s nuclear program in exchange for Russian cooperation in signing a key arms treaty.

According to an exclusive report from the UK’s Telegraph, the United States government agreed (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/wikileaks/8304654/WikiLeaks-cables-US-agrees-to-tell-Russia-Britains-nuclear-secrets.html#) to share information about every Trident missile the U.S. supplies to Britain with Russia as part of an agreement President Barack Obama is expected to sign on to next week.

<B>Details of the behind-the-scenes talks are contained in more than 1,400 US embassy cables published to date by the Telegraph, including almost 800 sent from the London Embassy, which are published online today. …</B>

Wouldn't surprise if this is true. BO doesn't have a very high regard for the Brits -- formerly our best and most trustworthy ally.

I don't think the Obama's will be getting a wedding invite anytime soon. I can't even think of a good reason why they should to be honest. :D

The Russians must have run out of hookers, if they need to get British military secrets from Obama.

Anyone here so naive as to think Russia doesn't already know how many nuclear weapons are in both the United States and The U.K. and for that matter the world. In the age of surveillance satellites and electronic espionage the major powers have entire programs dedicated to ferreting out military secrets.

I would not be wringing my hands over what Russia or China knows about our nuclear capability when the real danger is some suicidal militant islamic faction gaining control of a nuclear weapon.

I for one would like to see the emails in context before they are run through the spin cycle.

it doesn't say anything about "how many" it says they shared info on the missiles. Interesting that it was done in a secret cable. I tend to partially believe your post above, but if that is the crux of the problem, then why a secret cable ? Something else is up here..........we just don't know the details.

Btw, isn't Britain the same country that enslaved Obamammy's GrandDaddy?

If the part below is true, Redshift1, I don't care how anyone spins this. IMO we should not have done it.

Washington lobbied London in 2009 for permission to supply Moscow with detailed data about the performance of UK missiles. The UK refused, but the US agreed to hand over the serial numbers of Trident missiles it transfers to Britain.

Surveillance satellites show underground nuclear warheads? Hell, why not use Google Earth?

Don't know if you can see emails but if you want to read the cables they're published in the Telegraph.

Some people will only see what they (you) want to see. The ionfo was provided for ya. If your not willing, or want others to find all the info for ya,...
Well all I can say is keep believing what this government is telling ya. It will be alright. Don't worry your little head.

If you could find the specific post you would have posted it.

So far and this may change but fox, CNN, MSNBC and the BBC have yet to report on this ?

Ive read the story as I posted it. I also saw the story mack posted....
Now, as i mentioned, you can either see the story or not. You mention a few U.S news sources and the bbc , claiming they havent posted the story as of yet....
Well, rarely does MSNBC, cbs, or most of the mainstream media post anything negative about this administration.
Fox, I am sure that based on the story coming from the blaze (late in the day I believe), that FOX will be having it sometime today if there is any truth to it.
The one thing I do believe,...of all the leaks that I have seen....none have been found to be false.
So read into that as you will.

When the Stuxnet virus was exposed I thought that the Russians may have helped design it. If they did, what were they in it for, since they helped Iran build their nuclear program. Could this deal have been the payoff to Russia for that help ?

U.S., U.K. Governments Dispute Report that U.S. Sold Out U.K. During START Negotiations

February 05, 2011 5:06 PM

by Jake Tapper

Both the U.S. and British governments disputed on Saturday a London Telegraph report (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/wikileaks/8304654/WikiLeaks-cables-US-agrees-to-tell-Russia-Britains-nuclear-secrets.html) asserting that the "U.S. secretly agreed to give the Russians sensitive information on Britain’s nuclear deterrent to persuade them to sign a key treaty."

State Department spokesman P.J. Crowley called the report "nonsense," saying the information sharing about U.S. transfers of nuclear weapons to the U.K. dates back to the original START treaty, an assertion backed up by the White House and British government officials.

lol...for a story that is false (as you two have stated our government has said)....seems like alot of news stories about it.
And this doesnt even scratch the surface of news stories.
But of course, since it was dismissed by both governments, it cant possibly be true.
Then again....considering the US government has conducted military testing on different people throughout the world, I am sure this is just nothing at all as well....
