I owe a horse a favor (http://xwebapp.ustrotting.com/absolutenm/templates/?a=41059) – and the finest 22 minutes of television ever produced

Do you owe a horse a favor? I owe quite a few of them. As kid, the food on my table, shirt on my back and roof over my head were paid for completely by the money my dad made breeding, raising, racing horses -- nothing else.

Hey Dean,
Ellen Harvey writes good stuff and is dedicated.

There's a terrific picture of Ellen (then not yet born) inside her Mom (Connie), who was driving Adios to sleigh on the Miller farm, and when Ellen's Dad (Harry Harvey) worked for Del.

...that show has one of the great comic racing lines from the early sitcoms

"limping on one leg and favoring the other three..."

along with 60 year old, Barney Miller detective Nick Yemana's (Jack Soo) saying he bets the 3-5 Exacta because he always plays his age. When called out that he's not 35, he replies

"I was the last time I hit an Exacta" :D
