Why would I want to watch jockeys race?

1st Parimutuel Match Race between female jockeys ?[

Works for me. :ThmbUp:
This is an interesting race to watch nonetheless.

:5: Agave Ridge (Korger) has the brilliant early speed but has quitting tendencies at the flat mile distance.

:8: Governor Jack (Boyce) comes off a 6 length tour-de-force at the 7 panel distance and stretches out an extra furlong for new trainer Mrs. Robinson.

Most match races are decided on the front end
but the outcome could go either way here in the wet conditions.

Governor Jack beat Agave Ridge the last two times they faced each other (but both times a male jockey rode Agave Ridge..... :) )

Laurel is a 'featured' signal today, they just got 60k in their exa pool in the race that just ran.

I like match races, they're like little chess matches. Of course they're not very interesting if the horses are a complete mismatch.

Not much to see, Joanie.
Agave Ridge took the lead from the gate;
Governor was never closer than 5 lengths.
Ridge wins by 4 or 5

The winner had a better record on an "off" track

#5 4-3-1-0
#8 5-0-1-2

Nothing to see. One jockey just took his horse out front big time and walked home. I think second place jockey conceded before race was even started. :D
