Unlike last year I'm finding Gulfstream almost un-handicappable. I can't narrow the contenders any further than 4 or 5 almost every race. Too much spreading for my limited bankroll and now I'm playing with "scared money" causing me to pare the fields even further whereby I'm undoubtedly leaving off the winner.
To tell you the truth, I think I took the meet too lightly this year, figuring I'd done well in the past; so I haven't done enough homework. Going to sit & watch for awhile; look for patterns, etc.
Going to go from the sublime to the ridiculous and play at Laurel, where contenders are easier to scope out but the payoffs are meager. But maybe it'll give me a confidence boost & slowly build the bank back up.
