Race-2 #4 Uptake—Well backed in debut. Hung up in gate and managed to split the field.
Race-3 #7 Our Sacred Honor—Not much speed in here, gelding should be forwardly placed.
Race-4 #3 Tiz A Scholar— BoRail knows what to do with this one, I hope.
Race-5 #5 Ask Eddy—Z-pattern in last and the addition of blinkers.
Race-6 #11 Dead Serious—Big shot to take them gate to wire @20/1.
Race-7 #6 Parent’s Honor—Dutrow/Rose, adding blinkers and outworking stable mate.
Race-8 #7 Native Ruler—Horse for course picks them up late.
Race-9 #12 Where’s Winston—Big improvement with blinkers, repeat of last takes this one.

The big question on Ask Eddy in the 5th is...was he "chambered" up here before heading down to Oaklawn? If so, he may be able to repeat or better his previous performance. I'm taking Lunar Pass here as a perhaps better candidate for improvement. Ask Eddy merits watching though-good luck!!

My only score of the day was in the 5th. I had the 4-5 exacta box that returned 121.80. Also had a $2 win bet on #4 in the 5th which still allowed me to go home up $60 after day's end.

Should've bet #12 to win in the 9th, but missed out on the tri.

Overall, great day, near 70 and sunny, and made it home safely.

Thanks, Kathy, I'm trying to concentrate on just one track (like the old days). I haven't figured out how to be profitable looking at many cards on the same day. I'm going to concentrate on Oaklawn Park.

Congratulations on your day. Do you go to the track frequently? I used to go to Fonner Park (Nebraska) 2-3 days a week. I live in North Carolina now so I make it up to Colonial once or twice a year.

No, I go about 3 times per season live to Oaklawn, but have gone for 20 years. I've got a Twinspires account that I play around with some too, but nothing serious. Oaklawn is a very neat place, if you ever get a chance to come down for the Arkansas Derby, you'll have a nice time. Perfect weather in April down here.
