What made the feat even more incredible was that it came after an epic 925m contest — the longest distance dogs are allowed to compete over.
When it was announced the crowd let out a cheer and all three dogs got a trophy celebrating the moment.
Bookmaker Dougie Tyler Junior had been watching greyhound racing for 45 years and said: "I've never been witness to a triple dead heat before, it's amazing."
Simon Clare, spokesman for bookmaker Coral, said: "Nobody at Romford can remember a triple dead heat ever happening in a greyhound race before.
"The odds on it happening are many millions to one.
"It would be like winning the national lottery and then getting struck by lightning minutes later."
