Find your state, and take a bow. Every state comes in at the bottom of some category, this map (http://pleated-jeans.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/The-United-States-of-Shame.png) breaks it down.

Maryland is up there in murders and now we are leading in AIDS (if I'm reading the map correctly). More stellar contributions by the "community" in the states with large inner city Black populations. How is that social engineering and democratic philosophy working out for you all ???

If the definition of being a nerd is going to the library, then I'm one proud nerdy Buckeye. There are a lot of worse things on that list.

1. Expect a population boom in Idaho.
2. I wonder if the North Dakota pervs are making their way to South Dakota
3. The worst thing they could say about New York is the commute? I can come up with at least 10 worse than that without even trying.
4. The Mormons have finally been "exposed"
5. If Tennessee is the most corrupt state, we are hosed.
6. I've driven in 47 of 50 states, and I agree 100% about Massachusetts
7. I don't know about least "green", but Indiana is pretty ugly top to bottom.
8. If you reside in Four Corners, you have a good chance of being a coked-up, drunk, porn-surfing loner.
9. Wyoming is the least populated state but has the most fatal wrecks?
10. Maybe there are more Bigfoots in Washington state than we know about.

Porn addicts in Utah? Well, it is one of the only two states in the nation that bans any and all forms of gambling, and the predominent religion is very restrictive regarding erotic matters. Thats what you get when they try to suppress gambling and sex. :D

"Gayety"

Shame - shame !!

I'm not sure if it's still there. I haven't been on Baltimore St. ("the Block")

for 30+ years.

"Gayety"

Well, it has been a long time.

And I completely forget it was called "The Block"!

If I remember right, we took in a Bullets game first. Gus Johnson, Earl The Pearl, Wes Unseld...they had a great 6th man too - pretty sure he was a white guy named Reardon (?)- but that's probably the wrong last name. Anybody remember the 6th man's name in the early '70's?

Mike Reardon, a lefty or Don Kojis, an AAU player from the Akron team. He was really good.

Reardon owns (owned?) a restaurant/bar in Annapolis for quite a few years, Don't know if it's still open; I hate Annapolis- home of liberal snobs !

Someone man the rudder, we're adrift !!

Mike Riordan from Providence U. Played for the Knicks from 68 to 71. Played for Baltimore Bullets from 71 through 75. Average for those four years was
10.0......18.1.......16.9.......15.4

Moved to Washington with the bullets in 75 and played through 77, but averages and playing time dropped precipitously. Career average 9.9.

I found the above in The Sports Encyclopedia: Pro Basketball

Mike was terrific that night. I think Gus Johnson was hurt in the game and Riordan played a lot. For some reason I can't remember who they played. My brother was there too - maybe he'll remember.

One other thing I remember well from that game: Unseld releasing (passing) the ball after getting the rebound. The man was a maestro.

It ain't racist if it's true.
The racists are the dems running the cities.
Call it like it is, not how you want it to be.
