Calif school eyes accounts of sex by 2nd graders

OAKLAND, Calif. – A second-grade teacher in Northern California was placed on leave while a school and police investigate accounts by students that classmates engaged in oral sex and stripped off some of their clothes during class, officials said Friday.

A then in a related story, MTV is being investigated for airing child porn.

'Skins' -- Parents Org. Wants Kiddy Porn Investigation

The Parents Television Council has fired off a letter to the U.S Department of Justice AND the U.S. Senate and House Judiciary Committees ... over concerns the show uses underage actors in graphic sexual situations.

Over the radio, it was stated that some MTV exec actually conceded that they might have aired child pornography. But since then, "silence has been golden" since the joint is probably being overrun with lawyers by now.

Funny how we don't hear any liberal pols banging down the doors of the AG demanding immediate investigation of content, including pre-edited tapes, when it comes to this kind of stuff like they do with the FCC regarding radio's conservative talk show hosts.

I can top this sick story - have you read the one about the abortion doctor in Philadelphia who is being charged with several counts of murder? It was sickening to read, IMO he deserves the death penalty.

This is how evil evolves in a society. It behaves like a malignant cancer. Something often starts out as seemingly harmless or maybe even "mildly wicked" -- with just a taint -- with just a small tad of sinfulness -- with just a tiny hint of risque, etc. Society thinks to itself: "Oh, we can keep this under control or that under restriction and all will be well with us." But that's never how it works! Evil abhors a vacuum! Eventually, the cancer will spread to fill all the voids in a society's soul.

None of these stories really shocked me. In fact, they were predictable given the moral climate of our country -- in both the public and private sectors.

So, it's wrong when controls are put on big business, or when someone questions the need to carry a gun, or when minimum health standards are put in place, but it's "wicked" when some questionable material appears on television!

Geez, you can't have it both ways! Get off your ass and turn the tv off! :bang:

It's only "questionable material" to those who have given themselves over to "vile affections" (Rom 1:26) and believe there are no bounds to expressions of human sexuality in private or public, or at any age with any sex or with any beast. Have long have you been into kiddie porn, Trot? Are you a card-carryin' member of NAMBLA? I ask because apparently you don't see anything wrong in what went on in that Oakland school classroom or with minors participating in a highly controversial MTV series -- called "Skin". You must be very much anti-pedophilia laws, eh? You don't believe there should be any laws on the books to protect children from sexual abuse -- from pedophiles or child porn?

And stay away from your lame, twisted analogies, Trot. You're just as bad at them as Hcap, Mosty and NJ -- quite possibly more than all three of these put together! So, yes, I can indeed have it "both ways".

Finally, the MTV story has far more to do with underage participants in the productions than it does with [prudish] TV viewers! Perhaps you should heal thyself, Mr. wanna-be physician, and take your own medicine by pulling your mush-filled head out of your own boob tube and spending your time more productively, learning how to read the written word! :bang: :bang:

what a jumbled thought process you have.
So for you, as long as tv's have an on/off switch you're fine with child porn on popular network TV shows?
interesting.

I never said I agreed with it. I'm just saying that you can't want "total freedom as an individual" except for when it offends you!

And Boxie, can't you have discourse without heaping on the personal insults.

How did I insult you -- by saying that your analogies are lame and that you can't read? And now let's add a third one -- a red herring, yet: I never said I was for "total freedom for an individual". That would be anarchy. Evidently, you have a really tough time understanding the difference between LIMITED government and anarchy (total, unbridled individual liberties).

Finally, to say that if someone is FOR good laws that protect children from sexual exploitation or abuse then that person, to be consistent, must also be in favor of ALL laws -- even when they're bad -- gives new meaning to the term "ludicrous". :bang: :bang: :bang: Your premise is too absurd to honor with a rationale reply because I perceive you can't tell the difference between good and bad laws, in the first place.

P.S. By the way, your absurd post insulted my intelligence. So, consider us to be even.

I'm not able to follow you, and don't know where you are coming from with this "total freedom as an individual except when it offends you" stuff. who is arguing for that?

I simply don't see how it's inconsistent to want freedom from excessive government intrusion in our lives, and at the same time to regret and lament the descent into the toilet bowl that our culture has taken. In fact this descent has occurred over a period of time when the government has went on steroids seeking to control almost every aspect of our lives.

Thank you, Jim. Someone else noticed this, too. The warped minds of liberals is astounding. It never ceases to amaze me.

And then like a typical liberal, Trot whines about me "insulting" him when I call him out on it! Woe is poor lil ol' me. A mean conservative bully has picked on me and made me a VICTIM.

So, you finally admit that there is room at times for "government oversight"!

No, I didn't "finally admit" to anything. It is you who finally extricated your head from the sand to understand what I have long been saying on this forum.

I suppose, now, that you have finally caught up to me somewhat, a congratulations is in order; but on second thought that would really be lowering the congratulatory bar. It would be analogous to me calling Obama a great president or Joe BiteMe the sharpest tool in the national shed.

DA Williams said Gosnell made approximately $1.8 million in one year alone performing the procedures.

No question that this monster had a motive, is there? It's that same ol' "love of money" thingy again, isn't it?

Disturbing story? For many of us, it probably is. But around 20 years or so ago, the late Dr. Francis Schaeffer confidently, but sadly, predicted that if the SC ruling on abortion was never overturned in this country, more heinous crimes against humanity and God would follow in its wake, including infanticide and euthanasia. He stated at that time that the legalization and the legitimization of abortion were merely the first steps society would take in the systematic devaluation of human life. He certainly knew of what he spoke.

America is truly on the decline...both in terms of the degradation of our sexual mores and our low regard for human life.
