Aqueduct will definitely run. It'll be cold ( high 23°), but the skies will be clear and moderate winds.

somebody wake up Dan Silver; it's 9 o'clock and they've still got Friday's status up on the NYRA website

He's out shoveling the parking lot ( as, obviously, you feel Dan is responsible for everything at NYRA ).

Glad to hear Mr. Silver’s got the plant up and running! Interesting match-up in the 6th at AQ today: two horses entered who Repole bought in the KEE ’08 sale, paying $235K for each. He still owns Overcommunication, but Black Pen was dispatched in a $25-claimer…and Golden/Jacobsen subsequently turned into a triple digit Beyer winner of $70K in his next 4 starts.

It might possibly grind the Repole/Pletcher gears a little were Black Pen to win today.

I doubt Repole/Pletcher really care if this horse wins or not they got bigger fish to fry.

Bigger fish to fry or not, I can guarantee you that not only does Mike Repole " really care " about whether or not the horse he still owns wins the race, he also " really cares " about beating the one he used to own. Mike makes it very clear how competitive he is and how much he likes to win and hates to lose. And why shouldn't he.

Absolutely, he is one of the most competitive owners in the game today and is as genuine as they come.
