The instant I saw the headline, I choked up...this is so sad, Miesque was one of the true great ones of our time. History will not forget her.
I watched her two BC wins again with tears in my eyes...and they still gave me goosebumps.
She was a champion on the track and as a broodmare, and her people adored her, as it should be...my heart goes out to them, she lived a wonderful and long life, but for those close to her, I know how difficult it is to deal with her passing.
