In an earlier thread it was noted that a solar panel corp. that received stimulus money had to close one of its manufacturing plants due to a lack of sells. Now it has happening again in Mass and again they were subsidized by taxpayers. And this is the industry that's going to resurrect our economy ??

they don't use solar panels where they should..ariz and nev should have solar panels in all new homes..talk about eternal sunshine..

Evergreen CEO Michael El-Hillow said dropping prices and competition from heavily subsidized solar manufacturers in China made the plant "no longer economically feasible." Evergreen will continue to run facilities in China and Midland, Mich.

Any bets as to how long the Michigan plant will be around?
