it's uncomfortable, whatever it is. Been to many a memorial service, to some gatherings after family tragedies....this one's bizzarre

Obama is about 30 minutes into his speech. Not a sentence about "Hostage Takers" or calling on the audience to bring a gun if the opponent brings a knife.

Very good. Maybe he gets the message that kind of talk is over the top. Or at least we can hope.
