Not bad. a $3000 quarter when you said you had a losing september. I think most would like to have the .20 on the dollar ROI also. It must be nice to live like a king :)

Those are Good Numbers. And from a healthy size sample.

When you use pik4's, less a 500, pik3 less a 1000. I was

slighty better than the break even area. Just a churn. But the churn is Important.

I'll ask the bettor. If you were to imagine every $40.00 you took the track the last 6 months.. or the occasional $200.00 loss you get on the weekend. What if you could have every one of those Dollars back in your Pocket right now. Today.

It'd surely change the way you look at your Game no?

If I throw x amount of dollars at a card and I go 0 for 25. It's money in the bank.. I'm gonna get it back...only a matter of when. Once I get the churn going..Its a combination money in and money out to make the slight profit Dollars improve my Life.

Great job

Now what if you were betting with the rebate houses. Pinnacle gives you 7%.

Those are indeed GOOD NUMBERS. And the fact that you keep records means you are a pro.
The sample size of the exactas may be a trifle small to make a statement, but I sure would concentrate on them. It seems that when you hit one it's a bomb. +.48 ROI is sweet.

Great you are keeping exact records. Your average winning payoffs for wp and exactas are very good! I figure $8.20 and around $15.00.

I guess this was covered before but in your win betting what kind of money management do you use? I'm don't get a chance to talk to successful horse players very often and the more I can learn from them the better.

After reading Redfknaves posts. I kinda went in and fiddled with the numbers in a few ways I previously never had. I saw something interesting.

I have no real Money Mangement philispohy. Money to me ...I just keep throwing it... and Like I keep throwing it into the face of a fan... It always comes back. True in Life too. For me.

I Posted my last quarter ending in June as well in another thread and I was at a substanially better Dollar profit for the 1/4. At one point I was up 10K for the 1/4. I tailed off and I think the # was +$6700.00. I have 20 months of records.

My Goal is to get better so I can stay slightly ahead. So I'm not posting to show any HUGE profit. My Goal is to get better at Handicapping races, and most of all enjoy myself.

Ask 1 of the 5 people that might have taken 10 minutes to read one of my "Rips" on a race or horse. Even when I read them... the thing that sticks out to me when I type them and read them... is how much I enjoy it. I could stay at this level right here and play the races the rest of my life with little to no Damage. I'm happy. I have a Lifetime irrevocable permit to bet thoroughbreds.

I've become talented enough at it where it does'nt cost me anything. Do you want me to list 100 guys I know that Love the track but won't go anywhere near it because its nothing but a HUGE money trap to them? They went for 10 years and never made a dime..and if they did.. it went back that day or next!

My Goal isn't to make money to Make Money. Although I have a lust for winning money. Its to stay in the game. I love it. I want to be around it my whole life. I can work with what I have going on right now.

I do have handicapping Philosophys though. And I've been known to puke those up over all the place from time to time. I need the right "example" Horse to get me going good.
