My brave little soldier lost his battle with cancer today. He fought 2 years and 3 months very brave. He was put to sleep as I held him in my arms and told him "You're a very good boy".... "Go nite-nite Ba Ba Boy"

i lost 2 dogs in one year..for 15 years we all went prospecting around the U.S.A..2 better friends a man couldn't have..i know your pain..it rips the heart outta you..i had them cremated and their ashes are where we spent 10 years prospecting on weekends..
i know this..if dogs are not allowed in heaven..i ain't going

I lost my little girl 2 years ago this month. She is buried on a hill that I can see from my office window and I miss her terribly every day.

I very quickly got another dog and I love her to pieces. Different, but it's still love.

As another said; Dogs are God's greatest gift and the only thing wrong with them is that their lives are too short.

Animals (esp dogs) seem to have a wisdom we humans lack. Your brave guy knew it was time, and loved you for being there with him.
