I really like Caixa Eletronica in this race. Throw out al lhis races of the last year, he's a gulfstream park specialist a la quality road.. killed me a few times at GP last year. Rule is going to get hammered off 3YO form. Morning line i am just not all that enamored with and he's going to get in a speed duel with rule and tackleberry. Soaring empire could do something but not at 4 to 1 i will pass.

Its just not fair sometimes, ya know?

I toss out the stupid 1 horse with no lasix and picking up weight with a jock i don't care for and i figure he's gonna at least duel somewhat and stop. So, the guys just decks, never really tries to win and sloshes home 4th and beats Dream Maestro costing me the super. And, to add insult to injury, i make a large show bet on Soaring Empire trying to beat the dumb Morning line show bet and HE sloshes home 3rd with no excuse after being on a loose lead.

Considering the Mdn Spl mile was won in 1.38 the race should get a decent BSF. The first quarter split in these 1 turn mile races is comical. Every first quarter is 24 to 25 seconds and every 2nd and 3rd quarter in 22.

I believe it's b/c the run-up is only 5 feet.

Good call daHoss--thought you'd get a little better price, though.
