Race 6

Probably way off here, but will throw a few down & in the effort to catch my usual exacta.

#2 Vicious Boy - working well for states debut & barn does well with this type, currently 35/1.

#3 Castor Troy - 1st states start for Julio Canani, have seen him score with these types in the past, currently 11/1.

#5 Puma - turning back from the route on the lawn to the downhill 6 1/2 today. This angle has worked well in the past & at the price of 20/1 I think he is worth throwing in the mix.

Just as I suspected - way off base with the last, the chalk wins no big deal.

Race 7

Looks like the 1 Star Parade & the 5 Sophisticatedbluff. Not much of a price with either, so a dbl might be the way to go.

Dbl's to,
#2 - True Contender
#3 - This Is That(multiple tix)
#8 - Richochet(multiple tix)

nice Tee... $145.00 Dub... ka-ching. You could play another 70 doubles in a row at $2.00...and lose all 70...and still have a Positive ROI on your Double bets...

My point being........ I see The NTRA players panel trying to Pitch 30% winning rate at a 5/2 Mutual as a the "Hook" for getting people to see they can win money in racing...

Also,,, seen a new member start posting piks this week. From about 10 horses.. The average Mutual has been $4.00. He seems to think he can win enough...to make money that way.

I'm not saying he can't. I believe he maybe that good. NTRA wants to pitch 40% at 5-2 average mutual gets you 22%. They and others think playing Longshots is bad for business. They don't think the average player has the "stomach" to bet Longshots and withstand the "perceived" wait between scores.

So I guess that leaves players two options. Get real F'ing good at picking favorites. 30% or 3-1. Or get a stomach.

You got stomach Tee. Big Stomach.
