I believe he should become a Hall of Famer some day. No, not for his work as a receiver, but for being the best kick returner in the history of the game. I believe there are no return specialists (and no punters) in the Hall of Fame yet a kicker like Jan Stenerud is in. I suspect that he probably won't go in, due to the fact he is viewed strictly as a "specialist". Yes, Ray Guy, the best punter ever, should also be in.

He played corner at Miami and I believe his first year or so with the Bears. I don't think he saw a lot of action on defense and they realized he was much better running with the ball than trying to stop someone else.
