Interesting, if unexpected, couple of weeks for Obama.

Not unexpected from this corner. The Repugs bought into "tax compromise" deal hook, line and sinker. And that was the beginning of the end. The Party of Stupid was suckered punched. They never saw it coming. The Dems have scored huge victories in this lame duck, thanks to the RINOs in the senate.

The Repub cavalry riding in will face the monumental task of writing a budget next year that will have to be cut even more severely in order to compensate for all the spending that transpired in the lame duck. The media will be merciless, as will the Dems' attacks. What remains to be seen, therefore, is if the Repugs can put forth a genuine leader or two who will not only be able to weather the attacks, but be able to articulate better his or her own in return.

It will be more than interesting when the new Congressional session opens. Will the tax cuts ameliorate the republicans sufficiently to work toward reducing the budget deficit?

A replay of Olbermann's snarky rant about Scotty Brown would be apropos.

We will see how he reacts to a congress that will not rubber stamp all of his big spending programs. Tighten your belts folks.

The RINOs in the senate sure as heck voted for "stimulus II". Liberals are liberals regardless of party affiliation. The RINOs sold us out in the lame duck. It's all on them. They could have stuck together, but chose not to.

Bi-partisanship always means the people lose. It mean both sides of crooks, liars, and thieves, have stumbled onto something so evil and profitable for them that we can all go to Hell.

A Christmas curse on every member of Congress.
