Heavy rain, wind, drainage problems in the chute area. Jocks walked the track and deemed it unsafe. Just in; Los Al also canceled their night card.

I was so mad...I just know that I was going to hit the p6. Sigh.....

Did anyone see the jockeys race each other back to the paddock? It was funny.....If only we could have place a bet on that lol.

It was a mess in L.A. area today, and it has been a mess for three days now. We are in a deluge of rain not seen since the 2005 El Niņo year, and even then, the rain was not all at once.


I am sad to see Hollywood cancel, but I am not surprised. I am excited for Santa Anita though. The best Christmas gift, though, would be for the horse racing board and for managements to realize the importance of the customers.

tvg spent like 4 hours covering turf paradise and sunland. then again that's pretty much tvg until april anyway
