The true heroes in this country are the brave men and women who serve on the front line for our freedoms. And what makes these service people so remarkable is that they willingly serve even under the worst commanders-in-chiefs -- even under the worst congresses. They put themselves in harm's way for us even under the most adverse political climate, the most hostile field conditions and under the most soldier-unfriendly rules of engagement in the war theater. They are the best of the very best.

May the Good Lord above bless them all, keep them safe and bring them all home soon.
