Where were you?
Saratoga Raceway?
Different divisions were on different dates (June 29, 30, July 1, 2 and
4th.)
The July 8, 1964 Harness Horse (cover) had a nice photo of Bret Hanover (Don Miller up) in the winners circle (July 1st).
Many folks hugging the fence are clearly recognizable in the photo.
In many of the other "Battle" winners circle photo's that accompanied the
summary are more recognizable folks (although not as good quality as the
cover photo).
If anybody thinks they may find themselves or another you would recognize?

BTW, Bret Hanover just missed the world-record for a 2YO on a halfer by
going 2:00.4
