Pick 3 starting on race 3:
:5: :9:
:4: :7:
:1: :7:

2 extra long-shots in the first leg
:5: Sure of It ...has ran twice & finished last twice. Had his first worlout last feb, then didn't work again for his debut till May; then held off till July to work and made her first start in Aug where she finished last while bleeding through lasix. Obviously a horse with physical problems. Didn't race again till Oct where she finished last from the rail after being checked out of the gate.
Negrete isn't that bad a trainer & now steps the horse up just a fraction.

May finish up the track again, but I'm using her today out of curiosity

Hmmm, I'd like to delete the post but I'll "eat it" instead. :5: backed up through the field & don't even know if she finished the race. :9: never got a call, as the fav toyed with this bad field & won by double digits

Thanx "Woody"

Got 3 going in this race & I love both the 3 & the 4 in the 7th. The last leg may be the killer.

Thank you, Mike.
Now, at least it wont hurt too much if I can't close out this pick 4.

i have watched these pick 3+4 tickets and i must compliment you on how well they are constructed. i hardly ever play them but for someone handicapping them the ones you play give you a chance to win at them. i hate tickets that buy the full field

Thanx, lamboguy.
Its the handicapping I like. It's hitting one of these by using the things you know. Add to that, I don't have unlimited or lots of expendable capital, so I try to formulate a ticket with as minimal investment as feasible. I "bought" one race this year. It was a terrible low-level claimer at Laurel abd there were only like 7 entries. As it turned out I was lucky I bought it, 'cause the winner was a horse I wouldn't have played normally & the price was nice and it completed a decent pick 3.

I have to say, this will be my first year with a positive ROI. It's mostly due to the fact that I've now concentrated on one track per day (sometimes 2) and not the multiple tracks I used to try to play. The successful pick 3's & 4's have been the savior.

Oh well, the co-favored :7: beats my 3 & 4 who run second & third.

I'm out of the pick 4 and a pick 3 I started with the 3,4.
