Sunday Belmont picks:
R1- #8 Aloe Cat – Beware of this trainer with FTS, gets Prado and Lasix. Of those that have run, I like #6 Sunshine Rondevou. This one has run well in the slop before.
R2 – Very suspicious of the odds on chalk here, I think he’s vulnerable. I like #6 Zamaroo, who blitzed maidens in the slop. Also like #7 Keen Intelligence, who’s drop is not so suspicious.
R3 – Vulnerable chalk here too, this fav is unproven in slop. #5 Girusol has run well in the off going before, trainer/jock combo is a good one.
R4- #3 Lord Commando- Lots to like here, trainer has excellent off track record, this horse has good off track breeding, and there’s not a lot of speed in here.
R5- #2 Rare Gift-Trainer decent with firsters, and Bailey sees fit to ride. Not much of an opinion otherwise.
R6 - #8 French Smile-Loved the off going in last, trust the trainer has spotted this one properly.
