George Brennan lost a wheel in the 11th race at Yonkers Saturday night, it feel off and rolled towards horses causing interference, amazingly it seemed to pass right under a couple of horses and there was no interference, and Brennan managed to keep his horses upright and stay in the sulky.

It shows you what some professionalism and a lot of luck will do.

There's some nice photo's of Super Bowl winning the 1972 Kentucky Futurity in which Stanley Dancer is pointing to the flat tire.

Different tires was flattened in each Super Bowl's heat and yet he still won, with Dancer moving over on the bike to take the weight off the flat-side.

Dick Thomas (son of Henry) also describes the ability of his Dad to lift the bike off the ground and bump other bikes in an attempt to scare the other driver "out" to allow space.
