A premptive move perhaps by NYRA,and NY State?
Currently in NYC buses ferry gamblers/patrons all over the region to the various gaming establishments/casinos eg. Connecticut[Mohegan Sun,Foxwoods],Atlantic City,Yonkers etc.
Why not create an early pipeline to funnel future Aqueduct racino players to the house, which can be scaled up later as demand [hopefully?] increases.
Of the 6 NY State OTB's only the NYC one which impacts the Genting's Group multi-million dollar slots[VLT] franchise the most is slated for closure;the rest of the patronage mills remain intact[a quid pro quo since NYC will reap the benefits of reduced overhead by consolidating everything in 1 large plant, and NYRA rolls up all the NYC-OTB ADW accounts].

Sorry to say, NO.

Serling will need to concentrate on driving the bus. :)

Would be hilarious to get on the bus and sure enough there's Andy wearing his dunce cap driving. Great idea for a commercial.

Great idea.
The OTB players can't possibly blow their betting money on bridge tolls

Triboro ($4.50 one way)
GWB ($8.00 )

Factor in the price of gas, well the costs of attending live racing in New York
is exorbitant for the regular players. Should the NYRA send buses to Hackensack or Jersey City, this idea gets and A+. Something more racetracks should think about and implement.

Triboro is $5.50 each way. Made roundtrip over Thanksgiving holiday to p/u family.

Meadowlands is closer to AQ from westside(probably, eastside too). Simulcast center is good. Maybe, give-up a Dunkin Donut coffee and bagel.
