favorite after favorite after second choice after favorite...40% of the field can't run...horses below their morning line fire, those above don't...occasional maiden bomb, impossible to find, juices up the prices...and Vic screaming about how exciting it all is.
What a great experience. Switching to all simo.

There is only one thing to add,a takeout increase.
Yea, Vic is a bit of a screamer.

Agreed, but how does GG have a quarter million, or whatever it is, carryover going into Sunday?

Sorry you don't like the product or the announcer. Hopefully both will improve to your satisfaction and we can regain your business.

Yup, pretty exciting huh? Half the field (2 or 3 horses) is out of it by the quarter pole. Which leaves the 3/5 fav to battle it out with the 5/2 second choice. The 4 dollar exactas, the 15 dollars trifectas. Ohhhh the heart stopping action of Hollywood Park. They are so justified in there take out increase. :) What a wonderful job they've done there.
So glad I got off that track.

There's a lot of chalk, but yesterday alone, a seven-horse turf sprint produced a $1.5K super with a $7 winner. Favorite off the board
A $25 horse recent G1 winner won the G2 feature. Favorite [Court Vision] off the board.
A recent G1 winner paid $8 horse in a five-horse field as the third choice.
There's some competitive racing if you look.

Looks to me like horses are running to form & the smarter handicappers are betting accordingly.
Complaining about the track announcer is weak. He has nothing to do about your success or lack of success at the windows.
