Race One: #1 Wenditions looked very impressive in winning at Chester last time. This No Nukes-bred filly has a lot going for her: early speed, the rail, and "The White Knight," a.k.a Brian Sears. Anything resembling this horse's last effort and it's picture-taking time in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Underneath: I like #5 Ideal Nectarine (hey, you need your Vitamin "C") with the Hall of Famer: John Campbell. This horse has early speed and may tuck in second behind the #1 horse. It could be those two to the wire. In addition, the #3 McFlirty with Tim Tetrick could gain a piece of the action. She has been running against cheaper, but may surprise. Also worthy of consideration are: #6 Up Front Cruiser with "The Orange Crush," Andy Ray Miller (Miller had a good afternoon of driving at Freehold). This horse has been campaigning in Indiana; she looks like a promising three-year-old filly. Finally, #7 Cowgirls N Indians might make you some wampum if she can close on the front-runners.

Race Two: "Every little breeze seems to whisper Louise..." Thank you, Maurice Chevalier. I guess you get the picture. I like the #3 Fox Valley Breeze. This altered son of Tyler B is getting a huge driver change to Tim Tetrick. The last time Tetrick drove him in the Escort Series prelims --- He won! As "Yogi" would say: "It's deja vu all over again!" Underrneath: I like #1 P L Dragon. This Albert Albert-bred gelding has been either first or second in his last six in upstate New York. He'll now try "the Big M" oval. He does have the rail. Another horse I like is the #9 Payne's Landing with John Campbell. This Abercrombie-bred gelding has a nice early turn of foot. He may just burst out from his outside starting post and finds a tuck by the time the horses reach the first turn. That would put him position to strike. Others worthy of consideration are: #6 Montoya Hanover (he's well bred and can close) and #7 Pembroke Joe Dunn (he's a Maine-bred Sonsam gelding who has put in some good efforts at Yonkers.

Race Three: In a tight, evenly-matched race, I like the #9 Speedtrap Hall with Tim Tetrick. This horse has been either first or second in his last three. He will have to overcome the outside post, but he's certainly capable of doing so. Underneath: I like #7 Rare Display with John Campbell. This horse has had a series of outside starting post; yet, despite the impediment, he's done reasonably well (second in his last). He now moves slightly further inside. That might help his chances. Also worth a look are: #10 Blow Em Away with Andy Miller. Admittedly, I'm looking for value in my gimmicks. And, this horse might just aid and abet my cause. He must obviously overcome the extreme outside post -- no easy task. Also in the mix are: #8 Long Life ("L'Chayim!") with Brandon Simpson. This horse has been running very well at "Poke-Your-Nose" (two wins in last three starts). Another horse to consider is: #4 Mattsamack with Jim Marohn, Jr. This horse finished second a couple weeks ago in this company.

Race Four: I like the #3 All Tricked Out (Reminds of that insurance company commercial with the girl with the name-tag). First, this horse has been eith first or second in his last three starts. He has faced better and he did win his last race. He rates the nod in a tough-to-handicap race. Underneath: I like #4 Master of Desire with Tim Tetrick. This horse vaulted to the lead from the 9-hole last time only to fade in the stretch. The horse might have needed that effort as a tightener. In any event, he gets a new driver and a better starting slot. That could add up to a contending effort. Others I feel have a chance in this superfecta race are: #5 Iron Byron (he competed in the Escort Series; he's a speedy sort); #8 Camboozler with Antonio Buttitta might just suprise and pick up the pieces in the super. He has hit the board in three of his last four efforts. Finally, #2 Palm's Beach ships in from Chester where he turned in some decent efforts. He gets the services of Brian Sears.

Race Five: I'm going with a presumed longshot here. Call it sentimentality. "Call me irresponsible..." Yet, I like #2 Brokaw. Hey, that last race at Freehold was no slouch. Is the ol' boy back? Can he return to the form that made a household name in harness racing circles? I think he's worth a shot. Underneath: I'm going with #5 Drive All Night. This horse has hit the board in his last three. If the speed ties up in front, he'll be coming like the Acela Express. Worth a shot. Also in the hunt are: #4 Super Eighty Eighty (Sounds like the "muscle" car I used to drive). This horse will be bolting for the lead as the wings retract. Last time he blistered the first quarter in :26.3. What exciting adventures await us? Others to consider are: #7 Lies Lies Lies with Tim Tetrick (Will he get caught up in a speed duel; we will see) and #8 TheRedAndPanLines with Jack Baggitt. He might also leave (the horse has hit the board in six of his last seven tries).

Race Six: It looks like the "outside" horses, here. I like #7 More Diamonds with Andy Miller. The horse has won her last two. This is a nicely-bred 3-year-old filly. Underneath: #8 Isthmus Of Panama (Palindrome: A Man A Plan A Canal Panama) merits consideration. She has a strong closing kick. Others in that are capable of hitting the board are: #9 Sand Gesture (she's shipping in from Dover after competing in the Matron Stakes); #5 Court Stenographer (this horse can close); and #6 Prairie Ganache (she turned in a decent try in her last after shipping in from an extended stay at Pocono Downs).

Race Seven: #4 Jet Set Hall has won three of his last five. He gets both an improved starting slot and the services (he drove him to a second-place finish last time) of Tim Tetrick. This horse has the speed to prevail here. Underneath: I like #5 Four Starzzz King. He won his last in impressive fashion. He looks like the major danger to thye top pick. Others in the hunt in this superfecta race are: #9 Amber Fella (this horse has an early turn of foot; if he find a tuck, he is (as Marlon Brando said in the movie: "On The Waterfront:) a "contendah" (not a Palooka). Also worthy of consideration are: #6 Speed Professor with Jack Baggitt. This horse, indeed, is a speed ball. He recently raced to the front at Chester and won easily. If he repeats that effort, he will be a force to be reckoned with. Finally, A pick-up-the-pieces-in-a-super possibility is the #7 Lucky Jo with Robert Di Nozzi (isn't he an agent on NCIS? oh, that's Di Nozzo). Anyway, this horse could suprise an aid value to your super selections.

Race Eight: I'm going to take a shot with the #7 AllAmerican Major with Jack Baggitt. I believe that a case can be made for several horses to win this tightly-matched race, but All American Major has as good as anyone's chance of winning here. He certainly fits in this company. He also has a lifetime mark of just over 1:50 (1). If he can revert to that form, he will win. Underneath: #8 Lets Getit Started has been trying to find himself. He did win his qualifier at The Big M on a sloppy track; however, his first pari-mutuel effort after a layoff was a clunker. Can he revert to his old form? We Shall See. Others who merit consideration are: #9 Roburascal N (he won his last; the outside post may difficult to overcome in this improved company); #6 Best Magic has been a bridesmaid in his last two. Certainly capable of hitting the board; finally, #4 Literate Hanover has been facing some stiff competition at Chester and Pocono.

Race Nine: #7 Camshaft Hanover turned in a fine effort at Freehold in his last. Any repeat of that effort and he can win here. Underneath: I like #8 Beau Rivage N. He should be closing. He looks like a key horse in exotics. Other horses to consider are: #10 Got'Er Done (he closed nicely in his last to win by a head; any repeat of that effort...); #4 Big Rock Star is rounding back into form. Does he need a tightener? If ready, he can be a factor. Finally, the rail horse, #1 Runover Feeling has faced some tough competition at Yonkers. The rail will help.

Race Ten: #9 Just Being A Boy turned in an excellent effort in winning at Pocono. Any repeat of that last race and he can take the finale. Underneath: I like #10 Young And Foolish. He gets that services of Tim Tetrick. Despite the outside post, he can get there. Others in the hunt in this superfecta race are: #6 Last Conquest. He won his last handily. He should be considered in all your gimmicks. Others are: #7 Basilio Blue Chip. He's hit the board in four of his last five. Finally, #3 Cole Hard Cash. This horse has faced better; he might just be part of the exotics.

As always, do your own due diligence. Good Luck!
