I know he really didn't beat much today and he really wasn't asked, still was a very impressive performance anyway. He basically has enough graded stakes earnings to get in the Derby starting gate already, it'll be interesting to see where Mott spots him over the winter.

102 Beyer, believe that is the second best by a 2y0 behind Uncle Mo in the BC

He got a perfect trip, especially with the trouble a couple of the runners had in the race but you always like to see a 2yo finishing strong at 9 Furlongs. What are the plans for him, gulfstream?

I would believe so with Mott. He goes to Payson and then I would think Florida.

If body language is an indicator than he is the real deal. He looked like Bambi. http://www.flickr.com/photos/easygoer/5212854048/

102 is a very strong number. Johnny V. actually did go to the stick a few times through the lane, mainly keeping the horse to task. If he was fully extended, he probably would've gone sub-1:49. A lot of very nice 2yos heading down to Gulfstream.

This colt has a great pedigree also...he can get a distance...love that Mott has him.
I'm not sure Unlce Mo will get the classic distance...his bottom side would have to show up big time...
