... for my Mattel Horse Race Analyzer.

That's right. I went to turn it on today and the original battery has died. I just don't understand that. It was working fine when I last turned it on in March of 2002. (It is not really the original battery. I actually changed it in 1985 when a neighbor borrowed it from me to play the races. Still, 18 years on one battery ain't bad.)

The good news is that IT STILL WORKS!

(So, now all of you know the secret to my recent success!)

There was a book written by an author who was a Hollywood director back in the early 80's, can't remember the name and all I
remember is his last name started with a Z, I think his lst name was Maurice. He won a large Tri and there was a photo of his ticket, he used the Mattell. The book was about the Mattell and how he won. Anybody remember the name ?

(Dave Schwatz, no that's not the guy)

His name was Maurice Zolotow. That book was an entertaining read.

Thanks. Only God knows how many times I tried to remember that.
