Mr. Rockerfeller, obviously, didn't care much for the outcome of this last election. So, instead of being man enough to own his party's failings as the cause for the embarrassing pounding it took at the polls, he accuses, instead, the selective media for the outcome. He tries to be clever and blames MSNBC and FOX (no doubt to keep it "fair and balanced"). But it's so easy to see through his deceitfulness because he say a word about conservative talk show hosts, who also played a big part in stirring up the electorate. Plus...what would he have against MSNBC? They're in the tank for BO -- well at leas as much as the radical left can be. :D

In part, he stated:

There's a little bug inside of me which wants to get the FCC to say to FOX and to MSNBC: 'Out. Off. End. Goodbye.' It would be a big favor to political discourse; our ability to do our work here in Congress, and to the American people, to be able to talk with each other and have some faith in their government and more importantly, in their future.

And just which congressional work didn't get done due to Fox and MSNBC? ObaminationCare was passed. Cash for Clunkers passed. Government takeover of GM passed. Two Stimulus Bills passed. The Dems were successful in blocking all free market solutions to genuine health care reform that were offered by the Republicans. New drilling in the oil industry is still in shut down mode, despite the lifting of the ban. So...just how did Fox and MSNBC hinder the Dems' progress? This is a red herring of huge proportions.

And how does the media hinder dialogue across the aisles in both hours? How does that happen? Did Fox and MSNBC come in to the halls of congress and duck tape everyone's mouth?

But the final excuse he gives is the one that is supremely insulting to any thinking person's intelligence. He knows from the results of this last election that Americans have no trust in the Dems. Many Americans have lost faith. But did Americans lose faith because of the facts of conservative-based opinions on Fox and the radio airwaves? Or did Americans lose faith because of all the underhanded, sneaky procedures the government used to pass ObamininationCare, for example. Or did Americans lose faith in the Dems due to all the non-stop lies that issued forth from our Deceiver-in-Chief? Doesn't Rockerfeller know that trust must earned!? (Wow! What a novel idea -- having to earn someone's trust. )

So, what we have here is another limo-lib elitist licking his wounds aloud and blaming anything and everything for the bad election outcomes except for where the blame really lies. What audacious temerity! And how insulting to the intelligence of all the voters responsible for the outcomes of these elections. (However, he's not on the same page as BO; for the prez blamed poor "messaging" as the reason for the Dems' dismal showing.) The real problem, according to Rocky, is that there's too much freedom of speech! And God knows, we can't have too much of that in a free society! This free society must find a way to restrict the speech that comes over the airwaves.

By the way, I believe Rocky's wife runs an NPR station somewhere -- probably in W. VA.

P.S. By the way, I have no problem talking to any lib about any political issues, regardless of Fox and MSNBC. :D

Earth to Rockefeller: CHANGE THE FREAKIN CHANNEL IF YOU DON'T LIKE WHAT'S ON!

Now, now....you know that's the farthest thing from Rocky's mind. He doesn't want to change the channel. He wants to change our minds by brainwashing and indoctrinating Americans with progressive drivel over the airwaves. This is very much on the minds of Libs. Trust me on this. They're anxious to advance their Marxist agenda and drive more of their Marxist nails into America's coffin so that we can all become good little Marxist-AmeriKans.

Progressive mantra for a long, long time: Free speech for me, but not for thee.

...this time specifically on El Rushbo. He signaled out Rush as the guy who he wants the FCC to shut down. The Left, during this lame duck session, is seeking to do as much damage as it can to our liberties. Once again, we see the left wing radicals acting out their motto, "Free speech for me, but not for thee." How they hate Free Speech when the "Thees" are practicing it.
